Stumpe Glas GmbH

situated in Kaufbeuren, Germany, delivers a broad range of products for the lighting industry. The Company Stumpe was founded in 1925 in – now Czech Rpublic – Jablonec n.N. starting with the production of glass stones for fashion jewelry and glass buttons. After the war, the company was refounded in southern Germany‘s city Kaufbeuren, which is located 80 km west of Munich. In 1975, we started to produce technical glass parts and increased that business steadily and continue to do so. In 1999 the family business was transformed into a Limited, which is run and managed by Thomas Stumpe, CEO, the grandson of the founder.

 

The company performs the whole production process from pressing of the raw parts to finishing them by grinding, polishing, drilling or aligning. To obtain a perfect product, Stumpe Glas GmbH cooperates with several companies, most of them located in Kaufbeuren. Each of them is highly specialized in its business field like e.g. coating technology. Therefore, Stumpe Glas GmbH is able to provide a full service on all of its glass product range, such as AL+SiO2, cold light, dichroic coating, reflecting, UV filtering or antireflex coatings. Stumpe Glas GmbH provides a big advantage for the customers; they get their products from one source but benefit from the knowledge of several highly specialized companies.

Certification

Stumpe Glas produce their products in accordance to national and international standards, such as FAA, ICAO, DIN, AS 9100, BSI, IMCO and MIL.

We will be ISO certificated by the end of 2011.
